Marine decapod crustacean. Shell pentagonal, somewhat curved and rough, with five teeth curved on each side of the front edge. Pincers large, asymmetrical. Dactyl of the last pair of broadened legs in the form of a palette. Reddish orange coloration on the back and white on the belly. Tip of the dactyl of the last pair of legs blue. Up to 4 cm in length and 5 cm in width of carapace.
