Marine cirriped crustacean. Body divided into two parts: nail, which contains most of the body organs and is protected by several calcareous plates; fleshy peduncle tube-shaped used to adhere to the rocks. Color: Yellowish whitish on nail and reddish brown on peduncle. It measures up to 12 cm.
